Why actress Mayoori committed suicide, discloses actress Sangeetha

Mayoori was an actress who enthralled the audience through her single film ‘Akashaganga’. She played the role of a ghost with ease. Mayoori was able to play some notable characters in ‘Summer In Bethlehem’, ‘Chandamama’, ‘Prem Pujari’ and many others. Shocking everyone, the actress committed suicide in her early twenties.

However, actress and Mayuri's friend, Sangeetha talks about the circumstances which led her to take the extreme step. She shared her memories while working with her in ‘Summer In Bethlehem’ in an interview given to Kerala Kaumudi Weekly.

Her words…
‘Mayoori was there in ‘Summer In Bethlehem’. She was three years younger to me and was a foolish one. Only after asking me she used to even tie her hair. Once the shooting is over, she will be with her toys in her room. She later committed suicide. Personal and film lives are entirely different. One need to be flexible to carry the two together.
