Campaigning ends for first phase of LS polls; voting in 102 constituencies on Friday

NEW DELHI: Campaigning for 102 parliamentary constituencies distributed across 21 states and Union territories, where voting will be held in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections on April 19, concluded on Wednesday. On the last day of campaigning, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav jointly campaigned under the 'INDIA' front in Uttar Pradesh.

Voting for the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh Assembly and the 32-member Sikkim Assembly will also take place tomorrow.

Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari (Nagpur), Jitendra Singh (Udhampur), Sarbananda Sonowal (Dibrugarh), Kiren Rijiju (Arunachal West), Bhupendra Yadav (Alwar), Arjun Ram Meghwal (Bikaner), BJP's Trivendra Singh Rawat (Uttarakhand). , Anil Baluni (Pauri-Garhwal), Biplab Kumar Dev (Tripura West), Congress' Nakul Nath (Chhindwara), Gaurav Gogoi (Jorhat), Rahul Kaswan (Churu), CPM's Amra Ram (Sikar), Bhim Army's Chandrasekhar Azad (Nagina) are the prominent leaders seeking popular vote tomorrow.
