'Will we get petrol for Rs 50?' asked media person; 'Don't you have anything else to do?' replies BJP candidate

K Surendran is still trolled by Congress and CPM cadres every time the price of petrol increases in the country because of this statement. Now, Surendran, who is also the NDA candidate for Wayanad constituency, has again responded to this issue.

"Don't you have anything else to do?" he mockingly replied to the media person's question about whether petrol will be available at Rs 50 if the NDA comes to power for the third time. He said that many such campaigns are being done against him on social media and media should not accept such capsules from AKG Centre.

When the media person pointed out that this was not from the AKG Center but it was K Surendran himself who said it in a channel discussion, his reply was, "There are so many more serious issues to discuss than that." " Congress members have also started spreading capsule against me since it was announced that I will contest against Rahul Gandhi. I am going to Wayanad after fully studying the problems there and preparing a proper master plan," he said.
