KOLLAM: DYFI's Pothichoru (packed meals) distribution scheme ‘Hridayasparsam’ is in its eighth year in Kollam. DYFI informed that 54 lakh packages were distributed in 2555 days. As per the numbers, as many as 2000 Pothichoru were distributed to homes per day.

Left leader Chinta Jerome eulogized DYFI saying the four letters in the acronym now epitomized love in Kerala and praised the organization for successfully delivering ‘Pothichoru’ to patients across various government hospitals in the state.

" When DYFI workers reach homes with the demand for pothichoru to be distributed in district hospitals, family members prepare some additional food and provide it to the organisation, without any discrimination of caste, religion or party politics.

The ‘Pothichoru’ distribution shows the exemplary standards of DYFI in Kerala. Even opposition parties are envious of the success we achieve. They’re asking their younger cadres to watch and learn DYFI’s meticulous organization work.

If in need of blood in hospitals, DYFI is at the forefront. Whether be it food or any other help, DYFI is there. We are doing this not for any political brownies, but to see the smile glow on your face. We have witnessed several such smiles and we are thankful for that."Chinta Jerome said.
