Lorry, private bus collide head-on in Choondy in Aluva: 35 injured, one in critical condition

KOCHI: A private bus and a Taurus lorry collided on the Aluva Choondy-Pukkattupady road, injuring 35 people. One of the injured is in critical condition. The accident occurred at around 2:30 pm today.

The bus, which was heading towards Kolencherry from Aluva, collided with a Taurus lorry coming from the opposite direction. The initial conclusion is that the lorry lost control on a narrow bend in the road. The injured have been admitted to the Aluva Rajagiri Hospital.
