LUCKNOW: A school director has been arrested for installing a hidden camera in the teachers' restroom. The incident occurred at the Learn With Fun play school in n Sector 70, Noida. The accused, Navnish Sahay, had installed the camera inside a bulb holder in the restroom, which allowed him to watch the footage live through his computer and mobile phone.

The camera was discovered by one of the school’s teachers, who noticed an unusual dim light emanating from the bulb holder. Upon closely examining the bulb holder, she found the hidden camera and immediately informed Sahay and the school coordinator, Parul. However, no action was taken by the school authorities. The teacher then filed a complaint with Noida Central's Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shakti Mohan Avasthy.

After conducting an investigation, the police arrested Navnish Sahayi. The probe revealed that the camera was capable of live streaming without recording any footage. During questioning, the accused confessed to the crime. He had purchased the camera online for Rs 22,000, and it was specifically designed to fit inside a bulb holder.

The teacher also claimed that a similar incident had occurred in the past, where another hidden camera was found in the school’s restroom. She alleged that the camera was handed over to the coordinator, Parul, but no action was taken at that time.
