There are reports of tension between the cast and crew of Suriya's upcoming film 'Karuppu', directed by RJ Balaji, and the heroine Trisha. Trisha did not attend the audio launch event held in Chennai ahead of the film's release. Following this, the actress came under criticism.
Karuppu will bring Suriya and Trisha together after two decades. Trisha is playing the role of a lawyer named 'Preethi' in the film. Trisha recently shared a teaser of her character from the film.
Trisha has also hinted at being ignored by the movie team. The actress also said that she is happy that the crew have now remembered that she is also part of the film. 'Thank you, even I forgot. I am happy that at least now they have left a reminder,' the actress wrote on X in response to a surprised person who said that he had forgotten that Tisha was acting in the movie.
