'Don't rely on others' opinion'; Mammootty responds to criticism on 'Patriot'

Megastar Mammootty responded to the criticism directed at his new film Patriot. He asked the audience not to rely on others' opinions before deciding to watch a movie. Mammootty was speaking in Dubai as part of the promotional work of the movie when he gave his opinion on the criticism of the movie.

“The film is released. There is a mix of opinions on the movie. Some liked it while some did not. Some said the first half is good, others were happy with how the climax worked, but did not appreciate the start. We produced the movie to entertain people. It is good that all have an opinion on the movie. The film addresses a serious issue that needs to be talked about," said Mammootty.

The film, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, was released across 500 centres in Kerala the other day. The film opened to mixed responses and is running in packed houses across the state.
