THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener T P Ramakrishnan said the LDF is not a bit concerned over the delay in deciding the chief minister. He also criticized the present situation as an insult to Kerala’s democratic spirit.

‘There is no dispute on the post of the opposition leader. The CPM is taking the decision in this regard. There has been no discussion on the deputy leader’s post. The matter has not been raised in the front. Read the open statement of Binoy Viswam. This is an issue that needs to be discussed and decided between each other. Raising it publicly is not the right way,' clarified T P Ramakrishnan.

The CPI is intensifying pressure on the LDF, demanding the deputy leader of the opposition in the Assembly. The party's state secretary Binoy Viswam had the other day raised claim for the post. After the elections, party MP Santhosh Kumar made the first statement on the post of deputy leader of the opposition. Binoy Viswam, who reached Delhi for the assembly election review meeting of the central leadership, reiterated this. Binoy Viswam said the election defeat is a warning to the people and that they should correct their mistakes and move forward.
