THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Voting is progressing in the state. There are long queues of voters at many polling booths since morning. The number of women voters is higher in the assembly constituencies in the capital city.

Therefore, the outcome of Thiruvananthapuram district, which contains many crucial constituencies in the state itself, will be decided by women voters. Thiruvananthapuram district has a total of 25,44,574 voters. Out of which, 13,30,664 are women voters, 12,13,858 men voters and 52 transgender voters.
