PALAKKAD: It was 10.30 am. Thousands of people, ignoring the 39-degree heat, flocked to the Elappully, Para bus stand in Palakkad to see their beloved leader. The stage near the bus stand and the audience of 2,000 people were adorned in red. At 11 am, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's black KIA car reached near the stage. Slogans reverberated when the Kerala Chief Minister ambled his way to the stage, waving at the crowd. K. Radhakrishnan MP, LDF candidate from Malampuzha, A. Prabhakaran and other leaders were present.

Every word in the CM’s 40-minute-long speech was a cannonball fired at UDF and the BJP. He also enumerated the achievements of Kerala in the last ten years.

“The government's work is done by taking the people into trust. The people also take the government into trust. The people vote only if they are benefited. As a result, they gave the LDF a second term in 2021.

Kerala has made serious advances in education, health, infrastructure, agriculture, etc. Very few countries could come out of extreme poverty, and with pride, we can say that Kerala has eradicated extreme poverty. The world is wondering how this happened. The people know it is only because of LDF.

The Congress and the BJP have a globalist policy to help corporates. The LDF stands with the people. The world was surprised to see Kerala not faltering even though it did not receive any help from anyone during natural disasters. The secret of survival was that the people decided to stay united with the government.

The central government did not help in times of crisis. The centre's stance was to let Kerala collapse and perish. The UDF carry the same approach.

History has never given victory to traitors. The state should always isolate traitors," the Chief Minister's implicit criticism was aimed at P.K. Sasi, who left CPM. At this point, the audience erupted in applause. After public meetings in Pattambi at 5 pm and in Thrithala at 6 pm, the Chief Minister returned to Tirur in Malappuram at night.
