Dust storm: 1,285 people hospitalized, flight services suspended

RIYADH/KUWAIT CITY: At least 1,285 people have been hospitalized after a dust storm swept through the Saudi capital, Riyadh, local media reported. Most of the people were admitted to the hospital with lung diseases. The dust storm, which started in Iraq, spread to Riyadh and the eastern province of Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Department said that services from Kuwait International Airport have been suspended due to strong dust storms. Police have also been advised to take precautionary measures against dust storms if anyone comes out. In case of an emergency, call the emergency number 112.
