Most of the exports are to Mali as the people there prefer this variant of chilli. That is how it got its name. These are available at some supermarkets here. The experiment was done after purchasing 10 seedlings from the Mannuthi Agricultural Research Centre. After it turned out to be successful, farming was extended by taking seeds from ripe chillies.
