Kerala records 15,184 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 23 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 15,184 COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Among these, 13,838 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1152 cases without an identified source of infection. 70 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 124 health workers contracted the disease on Saturday.

38,819 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,81,347 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 23 deaths due to the virus on Saturday with the toll rising to 62,053.

Ernakulam 2973, Thiruvananthapuram 1916, Kozhikode 1446, Kollam 1383, Kottayam 1367, Thrissur 1061, Alappuzha 1006, Malappuram 838, Pathanamthitta 739, Idukki 620, Palakkad 606, Kannur 597, Wayanad 427, Kasaragod 205.
