Kerala records 33,538 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 22 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 33,538 COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Among these, 32,500 persons developed the disease through contact, including 651 cases without an identified source of infection. 147 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 240 health workers contracted the disease on Saturday.

46,813 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3,52,399 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 22 deaths due to the virus on Saturday with the toll rising to 57,740.

Ernakulam 5577, Thiruvananthapuram 3912, Kottayam 3569, Kollam 3321, Thrissur 2729, Kozhikode 2471, Malappuram 2086, Alappuzha 2023, Pathanamthitta 1833, Kannur 1807, Palakkad 1577, Idukki 1207, Wayanad 923, Kasaragod 503.
