12 killed after wall collapses at factory in Gujarat, aid of Rs 2 lakh for kin of dead

GANDHINAGAR: At least 12 labourers were killed after a wall of a factory collapsed in Gujarat. The accident happened at Sagar salt packaging factory in Halwad in Gujarat’s Morbi district. Many more are suspected to be trapped under the mud.
The tragedy in Morbi caused by a wall collapse is heart-rending. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon. Local authorities are providing all possible assistance to the affected.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences. He announced a financial aid of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
