‘Not done anything against truth, she was living here in good comfort,’ says Mofiya’s mother-in-law

ALUVA: The accused in the Mofiya Parveen suicide case were brought home to collect evidence. Mofiya, a law student committed suicide following domestic harassment. Mofiya's husband Suhail, his mother Rukhiya and father Yusuf were brought home to collect evidence.

Suhail told media that what you heard is not true, let the probe go on and the truth will come out. Suhail's mother responded that nothing was done against the truth and that she had lived here in good comfort.

The accused were brought to their house in Kothamangalam last evening to gather information. Collecting evidence continued for about an hour. The complaint to the police asserted that Mofiya was subjected to domestic violence at this house.
