Death after completing even last schedule of last movie; film world shocked by Kalabhavan Navas' death

KOCHI: Kalabhavan Navas had reached his hotel room in Chottanikkara after the shooting of his new film Prakambanam. Navas was found dead when the roomboy went to look for him, as he had not come back. The police were informed immediately. The body was shifted to a private hospital in Chottanikkara after the police arrived and conducted preliminary investigations. The initial conclusion is that the cause of death was a heart attack.

It is reported that Navas had come to vacate the hotel room after completing the last schedule of the film Prakambam. Navas was making a comeback in films after a break. He also appeared in a notable role in the recently released Detective Ujjwalan. Navas is the son of actor Abubakar. Actress Rehna is his wife. His brother Niyaz Bakar is also an actor.

Navas started his career through the mimicry stage. His first film was Chaithanyam, which was released in 1995. He played notable roles in films like Mimics Action 500, Hitler Brothers, Junior Mandrake, Mattupetti Machan, Chandamama, and Thillana Thillana. Navas had also attended the recent general body meeting of the star organization AMMA. Navas' sudden demise shocked the film industry.
