‘I deliberately rejected offers from Malayalam, my son also did the same,’ Jayaram reveals reason 

Jayaram is an all-time favorite of the Malayalam film audiences. The actor, who is in the hearts of fans through his popular roles, was not seen in Malayalam films for the past few years. Jayaram was busy in other south Indian films for the past few years.

Now, the actor is all set to act in a new Malayalam film with his son Kalidas. Meanwhile, Jayaram has revealed the reason for not acting in Malayalam films for so long to a media.

Jayaram says

'It has been over one and a half years since I acted a film in Malayalam. After that, people are asking me why I am doing Malayalam films. The reason is nothing else, it is because I did not get a script that satisfies me 100 percent. In that gap, was acting in languages like Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Those roles were not that of a hero. Did all these while waiting for a good film.Jayaram said that now he is going to act with his son in a Malayalam film. We liked the script when Jude Antony narrated it. He said that it would be good if both of us act together. I was happy when I heard it. Kalidas was also getting offers in Malayalam, but nothing was good. He was also waiting to do a film like this. I am very happy’, he said.
