Diamonds representing husband and children; Sudha Reddy's diamond necklace at Met Gala reflects creativity and cultural beauty

NEW YORK: Indian entrepreneur Sudha Reddy's diamond necklace became a star at the Met Gala, the festival of the world of fashion in New York. The price of the necklace is 20 million (two crore rupees). Four heart-shaped diamonds are attached to it. It is a festival where fashion and celebrities from different parts of the world come together under one roof.

Sudha's attractive outfit was the first thing that was discussed. It was only later that the fashion world searched for the necklace. Sudha wore a 180-carat diamond necklace which means eternal love in Italian. One of these diamonds is 25 carat. The necklace also has three diamonds of 20 carats each representing her husband and two children. Sudha wore an ivory gown that was made by more than 80 experts who spent 4500 hours on it.

The dress, worth $10 million (Rs 83 crore), reflects India's creativity and cultural beauty. The diversity and beauty of Indian design and craftsmanship can be seen in the clothing. Sudha Reddy is the Director of MEIL Group based in Hyderabad. Noted for her philanthropic activities, she is also the chairperson of Sudha Reddy Foundation.
