'Full of love and gratitude'; Megastar Mammootty shares new pic on birthday

Megastar Mammootty turned 74 today. The actor shared a picture of himself leaning on a black Land Cruiser and looking at the sea on Facebook. He also shared a note with the picture, saying, 'To all, full of love and gratitude and the Almighty'. Many celebrities and fans, including actors Vikram, Ramesh Pisharody and Nivin Pauly, have wished the actor on his birthday.

Minister K B Ganesh Kumar wished the actor from his official page. Comments like 'one time there was only one Mammootty, the whole state is waiting for his return, and fans are pouring love' are also coming to Mammootty's new picture.

Actor and director Ramesh Pisharody wrote on Facebook that Mammootty is like a super duper hit film with artistic value. He added that people will have 100 reasons to like Mammootty. It will survive time and will be seen again and again, wherever and whenever. Those who have seen it will talk about it to those who have not seen it, and even if there may be a short break, it will move forward magnificently. We will also move forward with that story, crying, laughing, happy, and clapping, he wrote in the post.

Mammootty had been resting in Chennai for about six months after taking a break from films for treatment. The doctors said the actor is now completely healthy. Mammootty is preparing to become active in films again. Meantime, many celebrations have been organized under the leadership of Mammootty Fans Association. Although the actor is not at home, fans had started celebrating in front of his house at Elamkulam in Kochi since midnight yesterday. The people celebrated his birthday by wishing him and distributing sweets.
