All you need is cardboard and water. Take a sufficient amount of cardboard to put on the terrace of the house on top of your room.

How to do it

Spread cardboard on the terrace, above the room which should be cooled. Then pour enough water to make it wet. This should be done in the evening. When you turn on the fan at night, the room will be cooled nicely.
