72-year-old man commits suicide after college girl uploads their intimate video on porn site

GUWAHATI: A 72-year-old man committed suicide after a video of him having sex with a college student went viral on social media. The incident took place in Jorhat district of Assam. 22-year-old Darshana Bharali honey-trapped the old man. After the incident, three people including the woman were arrested.

Both are residents of Dekelia village. When her parents were not at home, the woman called the unmarried old man to her house and forced him to have sex. She secretly recorded the video and later uploaded it on porn sites. After this, the video was circulated on social media.

The police stated that the woman's laptop also had private videos of her with other men in the area. Recently, the woman lodged a complaint with the police after a video of her with a college student surfaced on social media. She stated that the youth had secretly recorded the video. But the youth denied this and told the police that the 22-year-old woman had trapped him.

The police clarified that the woman is recording the videos in this way to earn money from porn sites. The investigation is ongoing in the incident. The court remanded all the three accused.
