WASHINGTON: After months of waiting, SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying Sunita Williams and her team landed in the Gulf of Mexico early Wednesday morning. A video of dolphins coming to welcome Sunita and her team is presently the talk of the town on social media.

The video shows dolphins swimming around the spacecraft after it landed in the sea. The video has already gone viral on social media. Many people have commented on social media that the dolphins came to say hi to the astronauts.

The historic landing took place near Tallahassee, Florida at 3.27 am Indian time today. All four passengers exited the Dragon spacecraft. Nick Hague was the first to exit. Alexander Gorbanov was the second and Sunita was the third. Sunita and Wilmore have been stranded on the station since June 2024 due to a malfunction in their spacecraft. Nick Hague and Gorbunov arrived on the station in September.
